People experiencing homelessness may be at risk for infection during an outbreak of COVID-19. The CDC has developed recommendations for homeless service providers to help safeguard their staff, clients, and guests. These measures include restricting public access to The Westside Men’s Homeless Shelter on the grounds of Spring Grove in Catonsville for the drop-off of donations.

In lieu of providing actual donated items, please consider making a monetary donation to Lazarus Caucus via the link below.  Based on the ever-changing daily needs and inventory levels at the shelter, Lazarus Caucus will place orders for necessary items. Filled orders will be delivered directly to the shelter.  These protocols will help maintain the safety of all involved during this difficult time.

Event Update:

Friends, sadly we will be canceling our fundraiser, which was to have been held on May 16 at Fish Head Cantina. The cancellation is, of course, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The crab raffle drawing, typically held at the end of the event, will take place on May 16 at 6 p.m. as advertised and published on the tickets. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Glenn’s Friends for sponsoring the raffle, OCA Mocha for hosting the kickoff event, the Original Automatic Slim for entertaining our guests, and all who purchased raffle tickets.
